ZTE has launched its latest glasses-free 3D device, the ZTE Voyage 3D, at MWC Shanghai. This new Android smartphone boasts entry-level specs combined with a unique 3D display that can convert 2D content to 3D in real-time.

Innovative 3D Display

The standout feature of the ZTE Voyage 3D is its Neovision 3D Anytime display technology. This technology uses stereoscopic eye-tracking to provide a glasses-free 3D experience, similar to the Nintendo 3DS. The display has a 60-degree viewing angle, allowing users to enjoy 3D content without needing special glasses. ZTE has partnered with Chinese video platform Migu Video to expand the availability of 3D content.

Display and Performance

The Voyage 3D features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and immersive viewing experience. Under the hood, it is powered by a Unisoc T760 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, ensuring decent performance for everyday tasks.

Camera and Battery

For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, ensuring that users can quickly recharge their devices.

Software and Availability

The ZTE Voyage 3D runs on MyOS13, which is based on Android 13. It is available in a sleek Star Black color and retails for CNY 1,499 ($206). The device is already on open sale in China.

Nubia Pad 3D II Pricing

In addition to the Voyage 3D smartphone, ZTE announced the pricing for the Nubia Pad 3D II, which was initially unveiled in February. The second-generation 3D tablet features an improved Neovision 3D Anytime display and is now priced at CNY 6,499 ($894) in China, a significant reduction from its predecessor’s price.

With the introduction of the ZTE Voyage 3D and the Nubia Pad 3D II, ZTE continues to innovate in the realm of 3D technology, offering consumers unique and immersive viewing experiences without the need for special glasses.
