Well, looks like someone jumped the gun! Xiaomi has yet to officially announce the Xiaomi Watch 2, but the affordable smartwatch is already on sale at some European retailers.
A few stores in Belgium have it listed for €200. In Slovakia, it’s going for €250. The lower Belgium price feels more likely as the intended MSRP since the Watch 2 Pro currently sells for €230.
So what do we know about the Watch 2? It sports the same 1.43″ AMOLED display as the Pro, but with an aluminum case instead of stainless steel. The 46mm watch comes in black and silver color options.
You’re getting onboard GPS, heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, and 5 ATM water resistance. It runs Wear OS on the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset like its Pro sibling.

Battery life is still advertised at 65 hours thanks to the 495mAh cell. Connectivity covers Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, and NFC – but no LTE this time.
The case material and missing LTE option appear to be the main differences versus the pricier Pro model.
We’re still awaiting official confirmation from Xiaomi on pricing and availability for the Xiaomi Watch 2. But seems some retailers couldn’t wait! No word yet on launch plans outside Europe either. Stay tuned for more details as Xiaomi properly introduces its latest affordable smartwatch.
