What’s up Xiaomi fans! Some key details just leaked on the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship, and it’s looking like more of a refined iteration than a revolutionary overhaul.
Tipster Yogesh Brar revealed core specs that will ring familiar to 13 Ultra owners – the same 6.73” QHD+ 120Hz LTPO display, Quartett of 50MP Leica cameras, and 90W fast charging all appear present.
However, peeking closer does show some notable camera hardware tweaks. That main 1-inch sensor gains a brighter f/1.6 aperture with Sony’s new variable LYT-900 tech. And the periscope telephoto steps up to f/2.5 over last year’s f/3.0. Enhanced low-light performance across the board!
The other modest improvement could be a slightly larger 5,300mAh battery replacing the 13 Ultra’s 5,000mAh cell. Help squeeze out a bit more runtime.

But otherwise, the 14 Ultra is shaping up as an expected boost in power and photography prowess building on an already successful formula. Not that sticking with what works is necessarily a bad thing though! Refinements over revolution are sometimes all that’s needed.
Of course, until launch day all leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. But I’d expect the 14 Ultra to continue Xiaomi’s reputation for stacking specs while maintaining impressive prices. We’ll have to see if these camera and battery tweaks move the needle!
