Vivo’s Y28 was announced in January, and since then, word has spread that the company is also working on the Y28 4G, which has already been certified by the FCC. Now, a third member of the family is on the way—the vivo Y28s 5G, which has recently surfaced on the Geekbench online database.
The vivo Y28s 5G, with the model number V2346, achieved a score of 599 in single-core performance and 1,707 in multi-core performance on Geekbench 6.3. It comes with Android 14 onboard, undoubtedly with vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 on top.
The benchmarked prototype had 8GB of RAM, but more versions could be offered upon launch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek chipset, most likely the Dimensity 6300, which became official in April.
Based on prior certifications from various global authorities, the Y28s 5G will support 15W wired charging. The Y28s may serve as a successor to the Y28, launching about six months after its predecessor. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
