The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G Receives Certification for its Batteries

Samsung is preparing to launch its next entry-level M-series phone, the Galaxy M15 5G. Recent certifications have revealed some key details about the device’s battery.

The Galaxy M15 5G (model number SM-M156B) has passed certifications with Dekra, BIS, and Safety Korea. The certifications show that the phone will have a rated battery capacity of 5,880 mAh.

Based on previous Galaxy M models, the Galaxy M15 5G is expected to launch with a typical capacity of around 6,000 mAh. This matches last year’s Galaxy M14 battery size.

The battery has the model number EB-BM156ABY. It is rumored to support 25W fast charging.

Early leaks suggest the Galaxy M15 5G will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor.

The specs look similar to last year’s Galaxy A15 5G, positioning the M15 5G as another competitive budget 5G option from Samsung. The recent certifications indicate the phone’s launch should be coming up soon. More official details from Samsung are likely in the near future.
