The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is set to become the market’s thinnest foldable smartphone, taking the title from the Honor Magic V3. An official-looking image has recently leaked, revealing the Mix Fold 4’s back with a faux leather finish, although other versions with glass may also be available. Note that this image is labeled as a work in progress, so some design elements might change before the official launch.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 Design and Build
The leaked image shows that the Mix Fold 4 will feature four rear cameras, similar to its predecessor but with a different camera island arrangement. The device will be under 10mm thick, making it the thinnest foldable phone upon its release.

The Mix Fold 4 is rumored to include:
- Main Camera: 50 MP with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 1/1.55″ sensor size.
- Telephoto Camera: 60 MP with a 1/2.8″ sensor, 2x optical zoom, using the OmniVision OV60A sensor.
- Ultrawide Camera: 12 MP.
- Periscope Telephoto Camera: 10 MP with 5x optical zoom.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It will also feature a robust 5,000 mAh battery (or larger) supporting 67W wired charging.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 Launch Timeline
Previous rumors suggested that the Mix Fold 4 would launch alongside Xiaomi’s first clamshell foldable, the Mix Flip, in the third quarter of this year, which spans from July 1 to September 30. There is a possibility of a July launch.
