Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold6 foldable phone may be getting a massive camera upgrade based on a new rumor. Reliable tipster @Tech_Reve shared a post indicating the Fold6 will adopt the same 200MP main sensor as the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
This clashes with an earlier leak from Ice Universe which pointed to the Fold6 retaining the same 50MP main camera as its predecessor. So there are conflicting reports on the camera specs.
The 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor featured in the S24 Ultra represents a huge leap in resolution. Bringing this advanced imaging hardware to the Fold6 would signify Samsung’s commitment to delivering its latest camera innovations on both flagships.
Other recent Fold6 rumors suggest we may see a wider aspect ratio cover screen, reduced weight, less prominent crease, and faster charging.

Samsung is also said to be prepping a more affordable Galaxy Z foldable phone variant for a potential 2023 launch.
It remains to be seen whether the mega 200MP sensor will actually make its way to the Fold6. But if true, it would give the foldable phenomenal photographic capabilities to match its next-gen form factor and productivity features.
