Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy S24 flagships, and now the focus shifts to the next foldable devices, typically launched in the summer. Despite the six-month wait until their release, we’re already treated to the first renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, courtesy of information obtained by OnLeaks.
The rendered smartphone bears a striking resemblance to its predecessors, the Fold5 and Fold4, with subtle differences such as sharper corners on the frame and completely flat sides.
Anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and featuring Galaxy AI – Samsung’s proprietary generative AI technology – the Fold6 is poised to deliver impressive performance and innovative features.
According to sources, the Fold6 will boast a 7.6-inch foldable panel and measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm when unfolded. This represents a slight reduction in height (1.4 mm shorter) and an increase in width (2.6 mm wider) compared to its predecessor. Notably, there is still no slot for an S Pen, suggesting a similar internal design, including the hinge.
The cover screen is expected to measure 6.2 inches, offering a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits.
