  • Cover display: 6.5″ with 19.5:9 aspect ratio
  • Inner folding display: 8″
  • Both screens are larger than those on the Galaxy Z Fold6
  • The device is expected to be thinner and lighter than the Fold6
  • Rumored to have a titanium frame

The Galaxy Z Fold Slim, previously rumored to be called the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, is positioned as a premium offering in Samsung’s foldable lineup. It’s expected to be more expensive than the recently announced Galaxy Z Fold6, reflecting its advanced features and design.

While the cover screen will share the S24 Ultra’s aspect ratio, it will be slightly smaller at 6.5 inches. The inner folding display is reported to be 8 inches, providing ample screen real estate when unfolded.

The device is anticipated to launch in the fourth quarter of 2024, between October and December. However, its availability may be limited, with some rumors suggesting it could be exclusive to Korea and China. Ice Universe clarifies that the Slim should not be confused with the Samsung W25, a China-specific foldable model.
