Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 FE is reported to feature the same main camera as the Galaxy S24, S23, and S23 FE. This camera boasts a 50 MP resolution and a 1/1.57″ sensor size with 1.0μm pixels. While this reuse of camera components aligns with Samsung’s trend of recycling, those hoping for a different setup should adjust their expectations accordingly.
The Galaxy S24 FE is anticipated to launch in late fall at the earliest. Given its current stage of development, it might even be released in early 2025. It’s possible that select markets will see the device by the end of this year, with broader availability following in early 2025, mirroring the release pattern of its predecessor.
The model number for the S24 FE is reportedly SM-S721, with the codename R12, succeeding the S23 FE’s codename R11. Although these are the only details revealed so far, with the launch still several months away, more information is expected to surface in the coming weeks.
