Realme has officially revealed key details about its upcoming 12+ 5G smartphone ahead of the launch event on February 29.
The company will introduce the 12+ 5G along with the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G at an event in Malaysia next week. Realme Malaysia also shared the first official image showing the phone’s design.
Unlike the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ models, the 12+ 5G features a flat display with a circular rear camera island. The island houses three rear cameras with optical image stabilization on the main sensor, and a “Sunburst Dial” aesthetic.
The back of the 12+ 5G is covered in a vegan leather material and will be available in at least two color options.

While full specifications are still to be announced, benchmark listings confirm the phone will be powered by a Dimensity 7050 chipset. It will also offer up to 16GB of RAM, according to regulatory filings.
The launch next week will reveal full details, but Realme has generated excitement by officially unveiling the design and launch date ahead of the 12+ 5G’s debut.
