Realme has reintroduced its number series in Pakistan with two new models: the Realme 12+ and the Realme 12 4G. While the Realme 12+ is the global 5G model featuring the Dimensity 7050 chipset, the Realme 12 4G brings distinct features to the table.
Realme 12 4G Specifications
Processor and Performance
The Realme 12 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 685, a 6nm chip that continues the 680 design with a 4G modem (X11, Cat 13). This is the same chipset found in the Realme 12 Lite, but the Realme 12 4G offers several enhancements over the Lite version.
Display
Unlike the global model that uses an LCD, the Realme 12 4G boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display peaks at 2,000 nits brightness and features strengthened glass. The fingerprint reader has been moved from the side to under the display due to the new panel type.
Camera
The Realme 12 4G features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with an f/1.9 lens and OIS, replacing the 108MP camera found in the global version. The main camera is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and can record videos at 1080p @ 30fps. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera.
Additional Features
This model retains the dedicated microSD slot, dual SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual speakers. It also offers basic dust and water resistance with an IP54 rating.
Battery and Charging
The Realme 12 4G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, allowing it to charge from 1% to 50% in 19 minutes and to 100% in 47 minutes. The phone comes bundled with an 80W charger, compared to the 45W charging support in the other Realme 12 model.
Availability and Pricing
The Realme 12+ will be available through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok for PKR 75,000 for the 8/256GB variant. The Realme 12 4G is available in two configurations: 8/128GB and 8/256GB, with prices starting at PKR 60,000 (approximately USD 215/EUR 200/INR 18,000). The 5G Realme 12 is also available in India for INR 18,000 for the 8/128GB model, with a 6GB RAM version also offered.
