Oppo’s latest flagship phone duo, the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra, have proven quite popular in their homeland so far. Just over one month after their announcement, the high-end phones have already racked up over 1 million pre-orders in China.

The milestone was shared by Oppo’s president of overseas sales and marketing, Billy Zhang. He tweeted that the tremendous interest “shows there’s a real appetite” for what the new Find X7 models offer.

Of course, that appetite is limited exclusively to Chinese consumers for now. With the phones still confined to the domestic market, all pre-orders naturally stemmed from there.

But Oppo’s recent patent peace treaty signed with Nokia may finally unleash the devices beyond China soon. The agreement helps clear a major hurdle that blocked Oppo from selling phones in Europe previously.

Once restrictions are lifted, the Find X7 series will look to make an international splash with its cutting-edge hardware. Early testing reveals promising battery life, and the phones pack top-tier specs like Snapdragon’s latest 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The Ultra model also touts a unique dual telephoto camera providing 5x and 10x optical zoom ranges. So there are certainly features that could entice global shoppers if pricing proves palatable.
