As the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 event draws near, set for March 11, leaks and official images continue to surface, providing tantalizing glimpses of the upcoming devices. Renowned leakster Evan Blass has shared a fresh batch of official images, further confirming design elements and camera specifications.
While the Galaxy A55 and A35 bear a striking resemblance to their predecessors, a few notable changes are evident. The most noticeable distinction lies in the Key Island – the raised area surrounding the Power and Volume keys – and the shift from a notch to a punch-hole design for the A3x model’s selfie camera.
Despite their visual similarities, the two devices can be easily distinguished by their camera setups. A pair of leaked images directly compares the camera configurations, revealing a 50MP main sensor and a 5MP macro module shared by both models. However, the Galaxy A55 boasts a higher resolution 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP selfie shooter, while the A35 settles for an 8MP ultra-wide and a 13MP front-facing camera.
Battery life has been a strong suit for Samsung’s A-series lineup, and the A55 and A35 are expected to continue this trend. Both models are rumored to feature 5,000mAh batteries with 25W charging capabilities, mirroring their predecessors, the A54 and A34.
Turning our attention to the displays, the Galaxy A55 is anticipated to sport a slightly larger 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the A35 will boast a 6.6-inch display with similar specifications.

The leaked images also reveal four captivating colorways that will be available for the Galaxy A55 and A35. While the identities of the specific models in the images are not entirely certain, it appears that the top row showcases the A55, as the sides seem to feature a brushed metal look, suggesting a potential upgrade to a metal frame for the higher-tier model. In contrast, the A54 and A34 both sported plastic frames, although the A54 did feature a glass back.
As the launch event approaches, Samsung India has officially confirmed that it will unveil the Galaxy A55 and A35 next week on Monday, further fueling the anticipation surrounding these mid-range offerings.
With official images and leaks continuing to surface, Samsung enthusiasts and tech aficionados eagerly await the opportunity to witness the complete unveiling of the Galaxy A55 and A35, ready to scrutinize their design, specifications, and pricing.
