Nothing’s budget-friendly brand, CMF, is set to launch its first smartphone, aptly named the CMF Phone 1. After initial teasers and last week’s confirmation, we now have a full image revealing the back of the device, showcasing CMF’s signature color extensively used in its accessory line.
The CMF Phone 1 is rumored to be priced at INR 19,999 in India for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, considering this is the “box price,” deals and discounts are expected to bring the price down to around INR 17,000 to INR 18,000.
The device is expected to be an attractive option in the market, featuring the Dimensity 7300 SoC, Android 14 from day one, and support for 33W fast wired charging. To keep costs down, the CMF Phone 1 will not include Nothing’s signature Glyph LEDs on the back. Despite this, it seems to offer a similar experience to the Nothing Phone (2a) with some spec variations and a unique design.
Previous leaks suggest the CMF Phone 1 will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main camera, a 16 MP selfie camera, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of expandable storage, a 5,000 mAh battery, multiple color options, and a removable plastic back.
