More Details Emerge on OnePlus 13’s Camera Setup

Last week, some details about the OnePlus 13’s camera setup were leaked in China. Now, prolific leaker Digital Chat Station has provided additional insights into the exact sensors that will be used.

According to the latest information, the OnePlus 13’s main camera will feature a Sony LYT808 sensor, while the ultrawide and 3x periscope zoom cameras will both utilize the IMX882 sensor. All three cameras will have a 50 MP resolution, a slight shift in pixel distribution compared to the OnePlus 12’s setup, with the telephoto having fewer pixels and the ultrawide having more. These new sensors are expected to deliver improved photo and video quality.

In addition to the upgraded camera system, the OnePlus 13 is rumored to come with a 6,000 mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a new camera island design. The official launch is anticipated towards the end of this year for the Chinese market, with the international model possibly following shortly after.
