The Samsung Galaxy A55 mid-ranger continues facing a steady stream of leaks ahead of its imminent launch. The latest comes in the form of real-life photos showing the device’s metal frame design – representing a significant construction upgrade from plastic-bodied predecessors.
At first glance, the Galaxy A55 hews closely to Samsung’s long-standing aesthetic with three circular camera islands on the back. However, the visible antenna lines confirm a switch to a premium metal chassis versus cheaper plastic. This brings the model more in line with high-end Galaxies visually.
Rumored Galaxy A55 specs also point to a more premium experience, including a 50MP main triple camera array, 32MP selfie shooter, the new “key island” raised button design first introduced on the Galaxy A15/A25, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Power is said to come from Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset with AMD graphics.

The leaked shots offer the best look yet in the meantime at what could be Samsung’s most premium A5-series device ever from a build perspective.
