More leaks are trickling out around Samsung’s upcoming A55 and C55 mid-range phones! Renders are one thing, but real-life photos courtesy of TENAA certification postings give us our best peek yet.

First up is the Galaxy A55 – no huge shocker on the overall aesthetic here based on Samsung’s tendencies. We’ve got that familiar glossy backside and uniform shape. Although the newly raised “Key Island” side button design introduced on the A15/A25 carries over, as expected from previous renders.

The pics confirm the A55’s model number as SM-A5560. There’s also mention of an SM-C5560, likely denoting the Galaxy C55, possibly to be called the Y55 in some regions. Very mysterious so far…

Specs-wise, benchmarks caught an Exynos 1480 chipset on the A55, maybe even featuring AMD graphics if we’re lucky! Rumors also point to an 8GB RAM/256GB storage configuration, plus a handy microSD slot for expansion.

As for its sibling, the C55, TENAA coughed up more concrete details: 6.67″ FHD+ OLED display, 13MP selfie cam, triple 50MP+8MP+2MP rear shooters, and a beefy 5,000mAh battery. Still no word on how exactly it’ll differ from the A55. But the Galaxy A54 is tipped for a smaller 6.4″ screen and 12MP ultrawide versus 8MP, so slight discrepancies seem likely.

Could the C55 end up aligning closer with the other mid-ranger seen today, the Galaxy A35? We shall see! Samsung’s keeping mum on official launch timelines for now. But the A55, A35, C55, and more mid-range Galaxies are definitely in the pipeline.
