According to a new supply chain-based rumor, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro series will bring several major hardware upgrades later this year.

The report outlines the following key additions:
- Larger displays (6.3″ Pro, 6.9” Pro Max)
- New Micro Lens Array OLED panels
- Up to 2TB storage configuration
- Apple A18 Pro chipset + 8GB RAM
- 48MP ultrawide lens, 5x optical zoom (Pro model)
- Significantly larger battery capacities
- New physical Capture button
- More cost-effective titanium casing
Enhanced Displays, Cameras, Performance
Both iPhone 16 Pro models look to adopt higher-resolution MLA OLED displays capable of increased peak brightness and better viewing angles compared to standard OLED tech.
The camera systems add an exclusive 48MP ultrawide sensor alongside Apple’s rumored AI capabilities for computational photography. The smaller Pro also gains the 5x optical telephoto lens previously limited to Max models.
Powering the package will be Apple’s next-gen A18 Pro silicon paired with 8GB RAM. Storage doubles to a max 2TB configuration.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max may offer the longest runtime of any Pro iPhone powered by its rumored 4,676 mAh battery, up nearly 250 mAh over its predecessor.
