Huawei has officially unveiled its latest affordable smartphone for the Chinese market – the Enjoy 70z. As the name suggests, it joins the existing Enjoy 70 family but stands out with its signature highlight: an exceptionally large 6,000 mAh battery capacity.
The sizable cell aims to deliver extreme longevity, further bolstered by 22.5W fast charging support. On paper, the Enjoy 70z seems geared towards users seeking battery endurance above all else but without completely sacrificing performance.
Pricing starts at a wallet-friendly CNY 1,099 ($152) for a model with 128GB storage. A pricier CNY 1,299 ($180 USD) doubles storage to 256GB. Either capacity dwarfs expectations for an entry-level device. Software-wise, Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS 4 comes pre-installed.
Available in Black, White, and Blue, the Enjoy 70z goes up for pre-order tomorrow from Huawei’s official online store in China. Global prospects are uncertain but its Enjoy 70 sibling ultimately launched internationally as the Nova Y72, so similar may occur down the road.
