Honor has confirmed the launch of its latest foldable smartphones, the Magic V3 and Magic Vs3, scheduled for July 12 at a special event in China. The Magic V3 is touted to be even slimmer than its predecessor, the Magic V2, which currently holds the title of the thinnest foldable smartphone.
Design and Build
Honor Magic V3
The Magic V3 will feature a unique camera island design, as revealed by the leaked images showing part of the back of the device. The device will be available in at least one version with a faux leather back, and other colorways may feature different accent colors on the frame and camera island.
Honor Magic Vs3
The Magic Vs3 is expected to be a more affordable variant of the V3. The leaked images provide a comprehensive view of its design, showcasing the entire rear and the cover screen, which is curved on the right side. This model also features a faux leather back with a noticeable fake grain texture.
Camera Design
The camera island design for both models is distinctive and has sparked mixed opinions. The Magic V3’s camera island, in particular, is notable for its unique shape, while the Magic Vs3’s design appears more straightforward.
Launch Details
Honor will unveil both the Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 on July 12 at their special event in China. The Magic V3’s ultra-slim design and the Magic Vs3’s cost-effective approach are expected to attract significant attention in the foldable smartphone market.
