Major momentum for Google One lately! CEO Sundar Pichai just announced the cloud storage service has surpassed 100 million paying subscribers globally. Google is looking to build on that with the newly launched AI-enhanced premium plan.

This Google One “AI Premium” tier pricing lands at $19.99/month in the US. It bundles the next-gen Gemini chatbot and its advanced capabilities headed to Gmail, Docs and more later this year.

For comparison, the Basic plan starts at $1.99/month, with Standard at $2.99/month, and regular Premium at $9.99/month before you tap into the AI goodies. However, pricing and inclusions can vary by region.

This premium expansion indicates just how bullish Google is on AI and its Gemini assistant slated to eventually replace Google Search itself! No wonder they want it front and center in Google One.

Reaching 9 figures subscribers is also just immense validation of Google One’s cloud storage appeal and the bundled platform benefits. Will be exciting to see adoption climb higher as AI features entice upgrades.
