VisionOS 2 brings several exciting new features and improvements, enhancing the overall user experience. One of the most notable updates is to the Photos app, which now leverages machine learning to transform existing 2D images into spatial photos. This new feature allows users to convert any photo taken with a phone into a spatial image with a single tap from the menu.

Another significant update in visionOS 2 is the expansion of the Mac Virtual display options. Later this year, users will have access to wide and ultrawide virtual monitor options, equivalent to having two 4K monitors side by side. Additionally, the Travel mode has been enhanced to work on train rides, complementing the existing airplane mode.

SharePlay has also received an upgrade with support for Personas, allowing users to watch videos, collaborate on work, and interact in a virtual 3D space with other Vision Pro users. A new tap gesture has been introduced, enabling quick access to the control center, and making the device more intuitive to use.
